Success at Victorian and National Country Music Awards. Harry Jon Nanos and Donna Fisk took out Victorian Group/Duo and the National Vocal Duet of the Year for "Somewhere Between the Truth and Goodbye", the powerful ballad co-witten by Doug Bruce, at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards in February. Doug begins writing for new album. Doug is busy writing for a follow up album to his debut EP, Brand New Memory. He is also writing with Crakajak's Harry Nanos on songs for the band's follow up to their last album, Ten.

CD release Party a great success! Doug and his band played numerous songs from his debut CD, Brand New Memory, as well as covers of contemporary and traditional country songs. 19 September ... Down in Texas debuts on The Fresh FM radio. Written by fellow Texan and good friend, Brit Stokes, this song is a fitting tribute to all that is bigger and bolder inTexas. It'll make you want to get up and scoot those boots! As the song goes... "Boots are made for dancin' not just sitting here tapping on the floor".

Doug interviewed at the Mildura Country Music Festival. Doug was interviewed for the Mildura station, HotFM during his recent visit to Mildura. Several songs from Doug's debut CD were played with a terrific response from listeners.
